How to track stock and create a purchase order
Know what you have, and keep a record of what you paid for it.
- Add the item under Inventory. Food, medical supplies, cleaning products - anything you keep a stock level on.
- Add your vendor. Their contact details, so you are not retyping them every time you order.
- Create a purchase order. Which items, how many, and from which vendor.
- Receive it when it arrives. Stock goes up automatically; using or wasting an item brings it back down.
