How to review and decide an adoption application

- Open Applications. They arrive as Submitted and move through Under Review, and Reference Check if you use one.
- Ask for more information if you need it. Move it to Needs Information; the applicant sees that, not silence.
- Approve, approve conditionally, or deny. Add a note against the decision - it stays with the application for anyone reviewing it later.
- Start the adoption. An approved application is where you start the adoption record and, from there, the contract.
